This aesthetic picture makes the rounds every so often, almost never with any product names attached to it. Since I absolutely adore this dark cherry shade, I just had to find out what each and every one of these products were, and now that I know, I want to share them with you. I don’t get any money from this or have any affiliate links; I’m just always looking for Goth makeup.
MAC Eyeshadow in Shady Santa
We start strong with MAC’s Shady Santa, which is still available to purchase! The dark burgundy shade has a matte finish and costs $25 for 0.5 oz of product.
Mac Powder Blush in Sketch, Discontinued
Best Dupe: Viseart Sculpting #3 from the Viseart Highlight & Sculpting Palette
This dupe took some searching, and honestly I’m still not happy with the results. But here’s what I found: The blush pictured is MAC’s Powder Blush in the shade Sketch, which has since been discontinued. The closest dupe I could find was, regrettably, part of an $80 Viseart palette, but if you know of a closer match, please tell me!
Nyx Soft Matte Lip Cream Lipstick in Copenhagen
At just $7, this Nyx lip cream is incredibly affordable. I love soft matte liquid lipsticks, so I will absolutely be purchasing this for myself. Copenhagen’s dark red shade is beautiful, but if I like the formula, I might even branch out.

Best Dupe: Cyber, also in the picture and listed below
Transylvania, however, is my absolute dream shade, so it’s a shame that it’s been discontinued. Still, I found that the best dupe for it (while not a lip cream) was also in the picture.
MACximal Sleek Satin Lipstick in Cyber
So let’s talk about Cyber, the best dupe to Transylvania and another lipstick lined up in the photo. MAC describes the shade as a blackened purple; it costs $25 for a 0.12 oz tube of lipstick. I think I’m going to have to invest.
Tarte Tarteist Quick Dry Matte Lip Paint in Acid Wash, Discontinued
Best Dupe: High Drama, also in the picture and listed below
This is yet another discontinued product, sadly. Still, I am absolutely in love with Acid Wash (though the name doesn’t really match the shade, in my opinion). And like Copenhagen, Acid Wash’s best dupe was also in the original picture.
MAC Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolour in High Drama
High Drama has most likely been reformulated since this photo was taken, but the shade looks like it’s roughly the same. Described as a deep, dark plum, it’s $26 for 0.17 oz of liquid lipstick.
MAC Nail Lacquer in Vintage Vamp, Discontinued
Best Dupe: Essie in Wicked
I’m not crazy about this dupe either, but despite my best efforts, this was the best I could do; every suggested dupe I could find was also discontinued, meaning this shade is clearly hard to find. Still, MAC’s Vintage Vamp nail lacquer is absolutely gorgeous, and if you used multiple layers, I do think it would look much closer to Essie’s Wicked collab than these pictures show.
MAC x Giambattista Valli in Eugenie, Discontinued
Best Dupe: MACximal Silky Matte Lipstick in Sin
I am absolutely obsessed with the packaging on this MAC collab. Eugenie is gorgeous, and the red tube made it incredibly easy to identify. As a collab, of course, this lipstick was discontinued, but MAC’s Silky Matte Lipstick in Sin is supposed to be a very close match.
LA Girl Lip Attraction Lipstick in Scandal
Finally, the L.A. Girl logo made it clear that the final goth makeup product in the picture was Scandal, though the packaging has definitely been changed. A glossy lipstick, it costs just $8 for 0.15 oz of lipstick.
